Love the city? Love western urban culture, and the colours red, white, and blue? So do I, which was why I couldn't resist turning these into notebooks when I saw the papers in store.

Repeated prints of the Big Apple, donuts, yellow taxis and the Statue of Liberty on both front and back covers, this all-things-New-York-City notebook is a lovely classic piece lined with edgey, deliberately fading green and black checkered paper on the insides. The binding is done with soft jade thread.

08 Star-spangled Banner: $25 (incl. of normal postage) NO LONGER AVAILABLE

With the front covered by layers and layers of American flags, the back is a matching zoom-in on the white-on-blue stars. I've to admit, I really like this piece, especially when the back cover actually resembles cloth upclose, just like an authentic part of a flag. The binding is done with navy blue satin. Get a little creative - write messages for your friend (if this notebook is a gift) or your name, things like that, on the thick cream and brown-red stripes lining the inside of the covers.
